Twyla Boo

Somehow, I think there is something very saving in a pup.
Maybe it is medicinal,
maybe it is companionship,
maybe it is un required love,
maybe it is all these things.

First Day of School

The Little Miss loves her school. She has already mastered the monkey bars!

Make Room

Today Ashley and I packed our three little bugs in the car, fully stocked with movies, polly pockets, and food, to make the hour drive to go visit this little lady.....

And next week I will be making that same drive to bring her home! Yippee!
I grew up with an English Cockerspaniel and loved her much. Now it is time that Holland too knows the fun and companionship and magical world only a pup can bring.

Ok, really, I did this for me.

Morning

A Little Miss
A Little Octopus that lives under our bridge
A Little Lady Bug that lives in our grass
All after a big sleep, a big plate of waffle, a big Birthday.

The Real Deal

The real Birthday day went as instructed:
Breakfast in bed with water and pink flowers, just a few (she says)
Dinner at the Forest Rain Cafe (she says)
That big sparkly black cake (she says)
Wrap my presents cute (she says)

We followed her directions.
Because today, she is the boss.
And tomorrow we are....again.

Smiles

Today the Circus came to town.
Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Duck Races, Face Painting,
Croquet, Ring Toss, Balancing Acts, Pinata, Hot Dogs,
and of course Clown Cupcakes.
All for the Little Miss.
(Because she is turning 5)
Five!
But really not yet,
there are still 3 more rings on the countdown chain.
Oh was she excited!
(before dozing off to dreamland--which by the way
she goes to Disneyland in her dreamland and asks
her Dad and Me to meet her there--she says,
'I better have a big sleep because I have a big day tomorrow')
She was really, so very, very excited.

And I was really, so very, very excited for her too.
